Simpson scores trifecta
Austin Simpson won the HDFNL under-17 best and fairest, premiership and best on the ground medals following a terrific 2024 season.

It was topped off on Saturday with a best-on-field performance against Laharum. Simpson was instrumental in the win, kicking a goal and setting up many plays.
Simpson was ecstatic after the game and credited his team for all the hard work.
"I couldn't have done it without my team - it's a team effort," Simpson said.
"Everyone had to help out today, and they did. It takes four quarters of teamwork to finish it, and we did it."
"Over the last few years, the club has recruited well, and we are getting kids and gelling well together every year."
"It feels unreal to win three in a row, and next year we are going for four, so hopefully we can do that as the club has been really good."
